Returns

Time is a fragile thing at Dread Post. You have 10 days from the date of your purchase to request a return. If more than 10 days have passed, the gates are closed, and your chance to reverse the transaction has expired.

Please note:

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • All returned items are subject to a 50% restocking fee—once something has been claimed by a recipient, it is no longer suitable for another soul.

  • Digital items (eBooks, downloads, cursed documents, etc.) are not eligible for return—what’s been read cannot be unread.

To begin the return ritual, you must provide proof of purchase.
Do not send any items back to us without contacting us first—we don’t like unexpected packages.


Refunds (If Applicable)

Once we receive your returned item and inspect it for signs of damage or tampering, you’ll receive an email confirming its arrival. We will then inform you whether your refund has been approved—or rejected.

If approved, your refund will be processed within 48 hours, and the funds will return to your original method of payment—unless, of course, something interferes.


Order Cancellation Policy

Our orders move quickly through the void.

  • If your order is cancelled before it ships: a 15% cancellation fee plus a $1.50 processing fee will be applied.

  • If your order has already shipped: you will be charged the 15% cancellation fee, $1.50 processing fee, plus shipping & handling—the price of sending it into the world and pulling it back.


Late or Missing Refunds

Still waiting? Sometimes things get... delayed.

Before reaching out, please:

  1. Check your bank account again.

  2. Contact your credit card company—it may take time for your refund to appear.

  3. Contact your bank—processing delays are not uncommon.

Sale Items

Only items purchased at regular price are eligible for refunds.
Sale items are final—marked by fate and sealed in ink.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive store credit in the form of a mailed certificate once your return is processed.

If it wasn’t marked as a gift, or if the gift-giver had it shipped to themselves, the refund will be sent to them—and they will learn of your return.

You are responsible for return shipping costs. Shipping is non-refundable, and if you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted.

Delivery time for exchanges may vary depending on your location—or the paths your package must travel.

If your return is valued over $75, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee receipt of items lost in transit.


Unused Discount Codes

Forgot to apply a discount code? Unfortunately, we cannot issue retroactive refunds or apply discounts after an order has been placed.

Once an order is processed by our system, the pricing is final. Manual adjustments would disrupt our fulfillment timeline—and we don’t like disruptions.

This policy ensures consistency for all customers and helps us keep the wheels turning behind the curtain.
